How to get pages re-indexed after a server outage

We had some web hosting problems last week and our site was down for about a day. Now many of our internal pages have not recovered their rankings yet.

What do you think is the best strategy to recover those lost rankings for our internal pages?

I'm thinking I likely have to build a bunch of backlinks to each of those pages. What's the best way to go about doing this though?

Should I just buy a bunch of text links? sponsored blogposts? Any other ideas to get a lot of links to a bunch of pages?

    Thanks!

Just wait, they should bounce back. Of course, build backlinks when & where you can ... don't buy links, ever.

Try pinging each page with pingomatic

anytime that has happened to me I have tried all sorts of things to no avail, the best thing to do is keep adding content and backlinks and just wait for them to reindex you.

None of the search engines de-indexes a site just because they could not access it for few days, so you dont have to do anything, if rankings have been lost, then they will come back slowly to their older positions if you have not made any changes to those webpages, carry on with your normal way of link building etc, do check whether all your webpages are existing and there are no 404

You need to submit the fresh sitemap and get strong back links.

We had the same problem months ago. Once the website is back, keep adding content to the site and building backlinks. It will be reindexed soon.

Did you display a 503 error? If so then this will tell the robots that your site is not available at the moment however it will come back to check at a later date. As long as if you still have quality backlinks to your website you should be fine

There is nothing to do to re index. Google will automatically index your pages
