    I was joking.

Just found it strange you could predict top 10 rankings for anyone who could write a meta tag.

If that was the case the top 10 would be a very crowded place.

i think having the keywords in your domain name itself helps.
try 'pangea enterprises', my site, pangea-enterprises.net comes up first,.even though i get hardly any visitors cos the only search its 1st in results for is 'pangea enterprises'

Putting your keyword(s) into your meta tags does not guarantee top ten listing in Google. There is a lot more to it than that. Unless you are trying to get ranked on a uncompetitive phrase that generates hardly any traffic.
"call center process" is searched about 170 times a month. "car insurance" about 4 million.

The question the original thread starter asked is the million dollar question everyone wants to know the answer too.
Very few know the precise specifics, but in general it involves a combination of onsite optimisation (meta tags, headings, number of pages, content etc), offsite optimisation, domain age and PR.

the theame of your site metters, like what is the comptetion for that perticular keyword. if it is not so high then you can get top ranking in couple of months but if it is very high then it may take couple of years with hard work (Quality off page optimization and Quality on page optimization).
