How to get on first page of Google search results!

i could't find you article on this link. some searcher.com is opened having some categories. i want this article, plz tell me the exact path.

Please check the date when the post was published, it was back in 2007. SEO information from 2007 'might' just be a bit outdated by now, don't you think. And also, the site this article was posted on has changed since then, the article is simply gone. BTW, I really find it funny how people here in this thread are thanking the OP for an article they couldn't possibly have read ...
As for getting on the first page of Google, it ain't no rocket science:

Choose keywords / topics with low competition.
Publish great content that is actually useful for readers / searchers.
Get backlinks.
Be patient.

I'm not on the first page, but i'm just going to keep building backlinks! they are essential to SEO as it is, and the more the better.

 

get some good dofollow links on the keywords that's it.

i dont know where is article and who has given the exect answer.

 

a lot of factor force a website to be on first place.but content is king.so first just focus on your content.

 

First time you have to do some hard work and then it would be go easy. Do proper work on off page and on page. Try to get good dofollow link,edit the contain ..
