Hi all, I am the owner of trailerdownload.net a movie related internet site. I am pr 5 for a wile now but i want a step up i want to get to pr 6 ( or higher ) How much must i invest in something like this to get pr 6? What kind of sites do i need to buy text links on? Sorry i am really new to investing in my site. Thank you for your help
Well, in theory if you get permanent links on sites that are pr 7, pr 8, then you could get a bump up in page rank.
Itd be better to buy high PR links on sites related to yours not just any random website for both SERP's and PR
Get a few PR 8 and mostly PR7, I am not sure of how many you will need, I hope someone here will respond.
you can buy some links on higher PR (say, 6,7,8) to do it quickly. there also few nice paid directories where you can submit your site. Also consider these [1] http://www.text-link-ads.com/ and [2] http://www.textlinkbrokers.com/
Thanks for the information but its hard to get good tekst links for the Keyword Movie or even Movie Trailers with high pr
Yeh - i've just wopped out couple of $k for directory submissions for a new website You can easily limit yourself $ wise though, check out http://www.webdirectorylist.com/
What I'm doing with one my sites is a monthly purchase at some directories that offer the proper category that has PR. Make sure the sub-category has high PR. You'd be surprised that some categories have very different prices for the same level of PR because the inner pages have good or bad PR (ie main page PR 6-inner pages only 4/3 VS main page PR 6 inner pages 5/4).
Yes, but there is still available there. Just post on link sales forum here in DP and you can find what you're looking for. Goodluck.
Since the scale is logarithmic, each successive PR jump takes approximately 10X more link value. It took me 2 months to get to PR5 and then three years to PR6. I agree that such as PR 8 are needed, or a large number of lower value. Best bet is a nice combination and consistent additions. Giving people something worth linking to is most important unless you plan to spend a lot of money.
Simply links from other high PR sites, PR6,7,8 or lots of PR5s. Content and theme don't have an effect when it comes to PR, but do in terms of rankings, so in the long run it's probably better to concentrate on themed links as rankings make money and PR doesn't - unless you're selling links.
