But, I want my site should indexed in that country so as to listed in Alexa where we can find the traffic of the website and the rank of the website.

Good news and bad news. The good news is that if your site is indexed by Google, it has been indexed for all countries. The bad news is that your existing backlinks are worthless in the rest of the world.

The problem is probably that you may rank quite well for the UAE, but not so well for other countries. Check out some of the other Googles and see whether you rank as well for those keywords in Google France in the other "local" Google sites.

Check out also whether you have indicated in Google webmaster tools whether your site belongs to a specific region, because that will greatly bias the results.

One way to get around this is to get backlinks from different countries. As highlighted in the link above, google detects where the backlinks are located, and if you get many backlinks from the UAE it will assume you are based there. As v4vikaskatoch suggests, get some country-specific directories to point to you (mind you, from different countries), as well as some .fr site for France, .de sites for Germany, .es sites for Spain... you get the idea.

It might be also a good idea to localize your site into several languages, so as to provide a more "global" view. You can only expect a majority of visitors who understand the language of your website, and to target France you should have your website in French. This will also help you rank better in the local Google versions (google.fr for France), which is where these people search by default. If you have trouble deciding which languages you should select, check out the post about into which languages you should translate your website.

    Yep, what he/she said.

Back links do play a big role in ranking in other countries. Another helpful tip is to build citations (look it up, it's associated with "local search optimization") and the idea of multi-language is a good piece of advice.

In my knowledge i have 3 options:

    1. You need to build a quality backlinks for wordwide, then you need to set in Google Webmaster Tool(GWT), Geolocation as "United States".
    2. Create sub-domain for each country, and set in GWT geolocation as per related country. It will rank easily.
    3. Create sub-folder for related country based, then get few bank-links for that sub-folder pages.

    thanks,

Then target those countries web resources. Google your targeted country name with your targeted keywords and submit your website in all those web resources.

Well, I must disagree for the following reasons:

    1. If you set your Geolocation in GWT to "United States" you are NOT guaranteed a world-wide presence - just the opposite, it will get you a boost in the US and penalize you in the rest of the world. If you target the whole world, you should NOT provide a geolocation!

2 & 3. A lot of work, because if you do not change the pages for each of the subdomains you might get hit by duplicate content penalty, unless you translate the pages. But are you really going to maintain the same pages for all English-speaking countries?

Note also that creating subdomains "spreads" your effort, as you will have to promote each of them separately - a subdomain is a domain by its own right, and Google handles them also that way. Why duplicate SEO efforts?

    HI,

U say u getting visitors from UAE. Where u want to target actually?
See in Google Webmasters u can set the targeted location
Then if u need to get traffic from specified countries like France, then u need to create domains related to .fr by which specific traffic can be generated.
