how to get my site at top

I have a website which has got more than 120 members within one month and over 700 posts. I want my site to be displayed on google when somebody search any keyword similar to my site. Please help me.

First of all i am not getting you , be specific for what question you are looking answer..

 

I want my site to be at the top when someone serach in google. If my site is related to technology ,i want my site to be at the top when somebody search with keyword 'Technology'. Hopw you got it.

 

create a sitemap of your site and submit it to Google webmasters

later on you can build up link for your site tooo....

they help a lot but remember getting to the top isn't that easy. It takes time

 

I know this . btw My site is using vBulleton 3.7.0 and it doesn't have a sitemap feature. I asked at vb.org and they told sitemap isn't possible.

Mainly, you have to spread the seeds of your site Place a link to it in all your forums' signatures and add it to all directories you find.

I doubt you'll reach top 10 for "Technology" but good luck. Submit a XML sitemap to google, add good content to your site, choose 10-20 keywords and start backlinking.

You can do adsense with your keywords that you want. You'll get your site on top that way.

 

Technology is going to be near impossible to get on the first page. You would have to build a ton of links.

 

The word "technology" has huge amount of competition.Its not to discourage you but its tough getting to the first position for this keyword.You have to have very good backlinks and a strong backlink support so that you slowly crawl up the serps.
For building backlinks you can go to link building category and SEO category in this forum.Check out the tutorials and gain knowledge from it.It helps immensly becz the words are coming from some expert guys
