How to get my new site popular?

    I recently launched a new forum for blackhat SEO, its about a week and a half old, already has had over 9,000 unique hits, but no sign ups? And it has TONS of great content, etc.

    There are about 70-80 users, but not much action..

    Any suggestions?

    It depends where the traffic is coming from. It seems you are getting untargeted visitors.

    Well, if someone running a blackhat forum doesn't know how to get visitors, I've got to wonder what's the point of blackhat methods...

    Have you considered creating a video? Use the video to share some of your useful ideas, then at the end, ask them to subscribe in return. If you have provided some useful info to them, then they are likely to respond. Also - encourage them to offer their own info and insight. I would also encourage posting the video on Youtube and some other sites that can point back to your forum as a useful resource... hope that helps!
