What's the URL of your site? I'd like to check it out and see if I can find some reason why it wouldn't get indexed. Leslie
if you use wordpress, then use a plugin to submit your sitemap, once that happens, Google will come and crawl your site and have it indexed very quickly. It usually takes like minutes to get it in there. go here to get it. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/
I checked your site in google by searching for it with 'site:' in front of it and I found 44 pages of it. So you are indexed, you just need to work on your ranking. Leslie
You should try social bookmarking. And then start commenting on some blogs. You just need to start getting some backlinks to your site. It should help you in Google. You are already indexed so now you just have to do the other work.
About two weeks ago I wrote a long step-by-step tutorial about getting indexed in less than 13 hours. Take a look: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1554293 By the way - all of the things others have suggested in this thread are very true, but the key is to combine them - the more exposure your site gets the quicker it will be indexed.
post a backlink to your site from DIGG and a couple other social bookmarking sites like delicious, and submit to pingoat.com to get your site pinged. Also might want to update your pinglist in wordpress (if your using it)
Just put the sitemap and submit it to Digg or Propeller. Google will read that and definitely it will be indexed by Google.
I think anna has good advice here Also, how old is your blog? did you put adsense on your blog right away? in my opinion, you should wait a while before putting ads on your site
bryanon: Nice tips, thanks. jana32: If you bought an expired (banned) domain, you must submit your domain for reconsideration via google webmasters tools, and to notify google of the new ownership. I had the same problem with 1 domain, now it's fully re-indexed and ranked.
Check you domain on Google Safe Browsing: http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=yourdomain Try submitting/advertise your website on free classifieds, like on craigslist under small biz ads. Suggest url manually to google: http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl
