How to get multiple pages listed down left side of theme?

    I want to post a section of pages down the left hand side of my site, and have six heading sections under the site banner at the top,

    Can anyone reccomend a theme like this or point me to the code to do this,

    Preferably a left sidebar and right - thankyou!

    You can do it in sidebar.php

    BTW which theme you are using currently ?
