How to Get More Yahoo Backlinks?

    I have a website which I am trying to build links to, I had checked my yahoo backlinks last year and I think it said something like 3. I have made many more links and connections with has shown and I have gotten first page google rank for some terms involving cheap traffic. I rechecked my site the other day and it said that now I have zero yahoo backlinks. I am rather confused now, I figured the more links I sent to my website over time the better it would show to yahoo. What is a yahoo backlink and how do I get more of them.

    Over time a lot of the links go away for various reasons, I like to build my links through quality content and speaking to other blog owners but others like to buy/trade links with others, I'm pretty sure you can buy/sell links under a section in this forum.

    Make sure you continue to create quality backlinks. Keep doing so on a regular basis. And try to find do follow places to post such as do follow forums, do follow social networks, do follow groups, and other do follow sites.

    No idea what you're talking about because you can no longer use Yahoo to check backlinks.

    Most backlink checkers don't report your backlinks with any degree of accuracy.

    To get more yahoo backlinks, firstly yahoo should crawl and index your pages. For that, you need to optimize your website for Yahoo.     Yahoo search is now bing powered, and on its last legs, so really you should just focus on pinging bing to get it crawling your site and of course good backlinks. Bing is MUCH easier to rank for than in Google too.

    Work with Yahoo directories and Yahoo answers. That's the best think to earn more backlinks in Yahoo. You cn post in Yahoo groups as well.

    Find a message board on Yahoo that relates to the subject of your website. Then post relevant info or msgs to the Yahoo boards that link to a relevant page on your website. In fact, what you link to should be related to the Yahoo message board.
