Hi mates, We are running Arcade Game site. Atm, it has about 2k unique visitors/month. We want to get 2-10 times visitors. How can we get that?? atm, we use facebook (over 3k2 friends - 93% girls) to marketing.
You can try other social media sites like twitter, and myspace. The latter has a lot of young audiences which may be interested in your game site. Also try buying advertisement that is targeted to that niche. There are many other things that can be done like article writing and submission, forum and blog commenting but I am not sure how that would benefit a game site.
If you're at school (junior high,high-school), try spreading the word around. You have no idea how much money I made when I was in high-school (three years ago) with my proxy. use google adwords you do need some money to invest but it will get you allot of traffic! and i indeed recommend twitter. if you get allot of followers and tweet once in a while it will pay off good ;D
