This is a BIG question! I love natural SEO traffic. To get instant traffic, Adwords is a good place to start. But it gets more and more expensive now.
Try to advert in same niche site , like posting a new message or participate more in forum get backlinks and build up your pagerank . learn about seo is a good thing.
Search engines traffic is the best. Just have a unique content and some pretty backlinks and you will have a deal with it
you can use social book marks to get quick traffic, also you can do ppc with google adwords or adbrite
Social bookmarking sites bring you tons of worthless traffic. I've created a new account at stumbleupon and i received 5K uniques in first week simply by bookmarking one page per day. Had no friends, hardly understood how to use it at all , so i think this as a big amount of traffic to start with. However they did not click a single ad on my site ;-) Find some popular keywords with low competition and write about it. Then do a bit of SEO and you'll have your organic traffic. It's a bit harder to do, but worth so much more than diggers and stumblers.
