    • Add your website in Google webmaster tools and Google analytics
    • Proper redirects (Make sure your website URL’s everything with www)
    • Update XML Sitemaps.
    • Update robots.txt
    • Write Meta tags for all pages (Title and description only)

    I agree with everything said above about YouTube (of course) but I also wanted to add that you might want to get your own domain name and move your blog there. You can set that up for under $20 with a domain name from a site like GoDaddy and hosting from a site like HostGator (about $5 per month). wordpress.com sites just look unprofessional.
