For your kind of website, the number you told seems to be very little.. 500 visitors are very less..

Probably that is the only reason, try to do some research on getting more visitors..

BTW, 500 visitors with 6 clicks and $0.41....not bad actually

and ya 1 more thing, those 2 text and image ads you have at the starting content, shift the right one to the extreme right like the left one and if possible place a banner ad at the header..

and use link ads anywhere in between your site content.

Go for niches like

finance, insurance or home mortgages...These are some of the high paying ADS.

 

nothing interesting there. so no repeat visitors.

i suggest you to place your links at top your site or top position at widget. and use same color of adsense with your site background.use related content and keyword. with this way maybe you can increase your CTR

 

Ads will not be targeted much from lyrics content.

 

Site loading time is too much. You have to improve it by writing good code in the background. Then ad placement is not so good.

 

Change ads position try to any place and compare which the best for CTR. You have use the time for testing but better than nothing to do anymore?

I completely agree with you, my blog was getting 1 or 2 visits a day before i starting actively using this forum, suddenly my visit went from 2 on one day and 47 the next, and staying at that amount.

 

yea sure, think like when u search in google . how you will search , keep it in mind that, and try to post u like that in ur site, thats the one way,

and another way is current affair is more important , post current affair in your site.

i usually use digg , thats it

 

But im saying it just average 400 , but i will make it in to 1000 visitor , bcoz secret is success for making more visitor
