I’m going to share with you a strategy that I personally use to get targeted traffic. Obviously there are probably hundreds of ways to do this but I have real results using this strategy. This marketing tactic is driving traffic with video marketing. You’ve probably already read that some Internet marketers can take a specific keyword phrase and turn it into a video and have it ranking on the first page of Google in the first day. If you can really do this and have a sales funnel in place, the results can be pretty impressive. Well I’ve actually done this. I watched enough videos and read plenty of articles and decided it was time for me to make my own stand. This is exactly what I did. First of all I started off with some keyword phrases. If you don’t know how to do this, you’re basically coming up with some ideas in the very beginning which consists of maybe one or two word keyword phrases. Type those keywords into the Google keyword tool. Then notice what shows up. Read all the way down the list because that will spark more ideas and combinations of keyword phrases. Another thing I did was click on some of the keyword results which took me directly to the Google search page. I read some of the descriptions and the websites that showed up. It’s important to do this because that additional research will also help you find more combination keyword phrases. This could actually take 30 minutes to an hour, and maybe even longer. It’s important that you really focus in on this particular step because this is what will determine your success in the end. Once you have some keyword phrases specific to your product or service and what you are selling, it’s time to develop some articles. I know that you’ve probably read a hundred different versions of how to market with articles but it’s sort of like the foundation, you really need it and it will help. So turn your keyword phrase into an article title. Then write the article based on the title. And don’t write the same old stuff you see, try coming up with a different twist to your article. For example, if it’s an article about Internet marketing then maybe talk about something specific. Try something like how to write an e-book that is funny with personality. This way you’re teaching the reader how to write an e-book but you’re also telling them how to stand out from the crowd with a different twist adding some comedy and personality. You get the point, just try and do something different. And spend some time thinking about how you can be different or what angle you can use. This is important because there are probably thousands of articles just like yours. Once you have the article written, turn that article into a video. Since you already have an article you basically have your script for your video. Take key points out of your article and turn them into a slideshow. Then just record your voice as you read through the article on your video. The title of your video is the same as the title of the article. Once you’re done with the video upload it to the video sharing sites that offer free accounts. I did this on a Sunday afternoon and submitted a video which was titled after my article, onto about 10 different video sharing sites and within three hours my keyword phrase/video was ranked number three on the first page of the Google search results for videos. This was also a highly searched for, keyword phrase. It was also a keyword that was costing advertisers a lot of money because there was big demand for that keyword phrase. Having your video rank on the first page of Google for a highly searched keyword phrase is a great opportunity but I have to admit it probably won’t work every single time you try it. It depends on the type of customer and market you are trying to sell to. You could also just happened to pick the wrong choice of keyword phrases for that particular market. The key to success here is not to give up and come up with 10 to 20 different keyword phrases for your specific niche. Then make those articles and turn them into videos and see which ones convert higher. It’s a plan that needs to be worked, and it’s not guaranteed to be an instant hit every single time so please keep that in mind when you try this strategy. But know that it does work and it’s almost immediate if you do it correctly. Good luck and remember there is no monopoly on Internet marketing ideas

Write articles to your target market. Determine your customer's problems. Write articles that provide solutions to these problems. People love how to or 7 tips to xyz. Catchy Titles are necessary. Without a compelling title, your article won't get read. Spend sometime choosing a title. Make a swipe file of titles and headlines that catch your attention.
video marketing can be very powerful especially if you have little to no budget to work with....the only problem with video and article marketing it can take some time to see some real traffic to your website. but video marketing does work especially if you use a tool like traffic geyer with your video marketing

The branding factor that comes with video marketing is what makes it a must have in any industry. As we move forward in this day and age of internet marketing, more and more people turn toward the internet for creating online income and need to brand themselves online. By using video to brand yourself, you give your prospects and potential buyers a face to add to the emails that they receive. People buy from people that they know and trust, so if you are out there on video all the time, people flock to it and will buy from you provided you've built a reputation that is made of quality and not quantity. This is a post right up my alley....I'm currently trying to go back to the basics of internet marketing, I've bought so many guides, software and methods....and most of them are garbage. niche video marketing is absolutely one of the best ways to get good traffic. it takes time to create good videos that turn viral, but when it does, expect very high quality paying subscribers to visit your site. when creating videos, ive found it useful to have my username as the site which im trying to promote on youtube. folks will google my username and arrive at my site after watching the videos
The best way to get targeted traffic is through search engine optimization for optimised buying keywords,why place your products in a shop window to everyone to see and pay through the nose for it.Why not only place your products in the shop window to those who already have an underlying interest in that type of product and with the addition of buying related keywords,have a preconception of purchasing your products.Thus saving you money and increasing sales due the targeting nature of search engine optimisation.
To create a solid video, it does take quite a bit of time. The results, if done correctly, will pay dividends. Thank you for the tips.
Optimise your website to be more visable for the search engines and targetted keywords as well as link building and social media marketing,if your selling good xyz and someone is at there computer searching for xyz and you pop up on the front page of google well ill let you guess what happens..........salesssss
I have actually been planning to create videos to market my website the very same way as you described. The only thing that's limiting me is time. Wile creating, uploading and getting a video to rank well I could write three articles well over 1500 words. In my case I make more money by writing three articles. But I might be able to outsource the thing later on. =)
thanks for the feed back, wiseme11, I use camtasia and they have a free 30 day trial. for the slide show I use google docs, they have a lot of templates to chose from, I matched one to the look and color of my blog. For the content, I basically took the article, (which starts the whole process) and I take key points and add the information to the slide show. Then I record my voice as I read the article but I move each slide according to the point of the article I am reading.
