Just give a do-follow link some place inside index.html or index.php (everything you used as a default homepage).

If you put a few links in place to your page - from other pages on your own site or from external sites, your page will eventually get indexed. Placing a link on your homepage to the page will speed up the process. Even if your page is indexed though it doesn't mean it'll regularly turn up in searches. Many pages google places into its supplemental index. Pages in this index only infrequently turn up in SERPs. The only way to try and pull pages into the main Google index is to get high PR backlinks.
