How to Get More Pages Indexed in Google

Hi guys,

I have a problem. Google has not indexed all of the pages on my website. I have more than 15000 pages but a site search on Google (site:www.select-a-room.com) only 6280 pages.

I can't think what the issue is. My sitemap and robots files are optimised.

Has anyone has this issue? What can I do to get more pages indexed?

Only if you have quality information on those pages than :-

Do social bookmarking ..
Post comments on comment love plugin using blogs....
Submit you rss to as much as possible directories

Main thing - Even top class webmaster face this thing and you need to work on link building and they wil get indexed . Google alwats show low pages comparing to yahoo .

So don't worry too much ...

 

You can check if there is no duplicate content issue with some of your web page, it may because the problem.

 

You can ping your site to make sure your site is indexed. If you have extra time on your hands then you can bookmark each page as well.

 

1. make more pages
2. make better index, make sure any page is max 2 click away from homepage
3. increase back links to your homepage and major pages.

 

Pretty hard to do with 15000 pages, but not impossible...

Pinging, Social Bookmarking and using RSS feeds properly help index faster.

 

it can be achieve by submitting a sitemap by that Google can reach all your site's pages and make sure all pages are working and no under construction or error because bot stop on those page and think your site is under construction.

 

make sure you have seo friendly sitemap and robot.txt

They may play important role in indexing!

 

You can you bookmarking your site then get easy to index your all pages.
