Ok so I recently joined fiverr. and posted some Gigs about website security stuff. I've read almost all fiverr related marketing articles I could find in Google. I've done everything I could. I did Add video Posted More gigs Youtube posting Facebook Twitter tweets Keyword Tweaking and so on. But I still don't get much orders. .. I joined Digitalpoint forums and I have almost read every thread I could find about fiverr. Please help me what is wrong with my gigs ? Nobody needs security checks on website or am I been the stupid one and missing something ? Link to my main gig http://fiverr.com/bugfree/check-the-security-of-any-webiste Code (markup):
to get extra customer create a free Weebly website where you show what you can do. link to that website in your Fiverr gig. you can also promise the first 5 customers your service free of charge in exchange of a review, you can post on your Weebly website. it would be best if they could create a little video. or you can even buy a review gig from Fiverr if you want! the important thing is to let potential customers know that you are an expert at what you do and that they won't be disappointed. you can also use Blogger instead of Weebly, though I prefer Weebly. Make sense?
Think through about what you know, then, offer it as a service OR · If you don’t know about anything in detail, then, · Learn a skill. E.g. graphic design · Perfect your skill by taking courses, then, · Sell your skill
I am good at what I offer. Computer Security is my field. I have almost 5 years experience on this. The problem is that I don't get much sales.
make sure you have a keyword rich and catchy title and description, check what your competitor offers and you offer more, this comes from experience
I don't know about cache but the strange thing is I can not see the impressions in Google website for couple of days back and people do come from google which I have seen in Google Analytics, so something is going on with Google.
Don't you think a good way to advertise your orders is not only to rely on putting creative info on your fiverr account, but to promote your fiverr profile to other social networking websites?
Try to make your services unique as possible, study your competition, what can you offer that they can't? Reviews, make sure you have really good feedback
It was slow going for me until I hit Level 2, then that has it's own clout that will bring in orders. I read about a guy that tried using Adfly traffic to his gig and it worked out pretty well for him. You might try that or something like 7Search and do a PPC campaign to your gig.
Go to craigslist and promote your gig there. Go to some big forum about website security. Check whether a signature is allowed there and how many posts you have to have in order to use it. Usually it will be several dozens of posts. Spend 2-3 days posting some really good content in topics that a lot of people are interested in. Then when you have enough posts, create a signature with a link to your gig. BUT! You have to make your signature REALLY stand out from the crowd. Make it bright, colorful so that everyone who reads the topic notices it.
Post your gig url on fb, twitter and also some forums that would be very helpful in increasing the sales and if it is worth the money you will see the sales increasing
I'd definitely recommend utilizing free social media to both prospect and generate sales. Use Twitter to follow relevant search queries, which could lead to sales. Spend some time on Quora to help establish yourself as an expert in your field by answering questions submitted by their readers. See if their are any groups on LinkedIn related to your niche and participate in the discussion there. All of these will take a bit of time but are worth exploring. If you have a website, marketing your page online is a smart move. Your price point ($5 for review+report) is very attractive and is sure to result in people willing to give you a try. Do you also have the ability to repair issues?
Why not create products for security to resell on fiverr? Then you can sell products instead of your time on fiverr - to get people into your sales funnel. Maybe sell an eBook explaining basics and maybe some simple software to help? Make sure you have links in the eBook to a site offering your service and also offer an extra bonus or two in exchange for signing up to your email list - then you can send out regular security tips and offers. Also do keyword research etc to understand eaxactly what people are searching for and need help with.
The key to get more orders at Fiverr, is how you are promoting your gigs. Not only mere promoting but you also need to promote to the audience who are looking for exact same service.
Copy tags from other gigs should really work well. Check your competition and see if there is other people that are ranking near you or have similar gigs. They may be the problem, not you.
