    Hi Everybody,

I am running a new website, I sent several link exchanges to webmasters of some theme-related website, how I didn't receive responses from them. Up till now, I got only five links.:(

How can I get more incoming links?

take it one step at a time, submit to directories, exchange links if they don't give u one way links which is little difficult for new sites. Link building takes time. So patience is the key.

There a plenty of people here who would love you to join their directory, have a look around.

Posters above already told you to first submit to directories and get one-way and recip links and take it one step at a time.

My advice would be to work more on your content. Nothing personal, but your content is, well, very mediocre. It doesn't give anyone a reason to link to you. I wouldn't, personally.

Also, your homepage looks a bit like it's been authored in Notepad. As simple as your site is (no dynamic menus etc.) it doesn't even display right in Firefox, which tells me it hasn't been tested properly with various browsers...

Anyway, this is my critique, take it or leave it. Just don't take it personally :D

You can summit your site to directories or you can do comment on blogs or forums. Good luck with you link building.

Original quality content will attract more backlinks. If you have plenty of those quality articles, chances are many would link to that article or some blog author may include you in their blog roll for free and that's more than the value of link exchange.
    One way backlinks!!!
