    Be very, very careful with automated back-linking methods. I'd start with manual back-linking: blog commenting, guest posting, bookmarking, RSS submissions, social media to name but a few...

    Well, I'd recommend mixing social bookmarks with doc sharing sites and video sites. I had good result with that. Obviously. there is the good old web 2.0 ...

    Nonetheless, try to keep your tier 1 site unique as Google is now checking that more than ever.

    You should start with blog comenting but with the same products as your site and with high ranking page.
    Then do the forum posting and article writting. am sure you will see some changes
