Hey, I hadn't even heard about custom fields until I saw this theme that took it to the next level, and I'd like to implement it into my website. http://www.markettheme.com/tour Anyways, they have places where you can enter the price, etc. underneath. Now, on my blog, I have been doing everything the manual way. I have to manually copy and paste Price:, Merchant:, etc, but with this theme, they are able to just add custom fields and enter the price and stuff. I want to implement it where there is a dropdown where I can select Merchants, etc.
That's great. I also found another plugin that will do something similar: http://labs.dagensskiva.com/plugins/more-fields/ BTW, this is excellent for magazine, CMS-type sites that will use Wordpress. Very underrated function. I used to have to type Price: $10, Click here for the rebate, etc. but this is so much more efficient.
Actually it turns out that the Custom Field GUI plugin has been disbanded, and it no longer works with Wordpress 2.5. Someone has taken over development of it, though, and there is a new spawn named FreshPost.
