How to get more Google traffic to my forum?

    I started this forum a few weeks ago:

    RecipesForum.com

    I have some good posters and am not worried about that aspect, but am mor e concerned with having a clear path to more google traffic.

    Currently, I get about 10 visits a day from google to posts on the Recipes forum. How do I go from 10 to 1000?

    Also, realisticly, how many visists (from search engines) do I need to reach say, $25 / day using adsense?

    Would appreciate ideas, general advice and to hear from other people's experiences.

    to get traffic from google to your site? only 2 real ways:

    1. rank highly in terms of serps for your selected keywords - accumulate lots and lots of good backlinks and seo your site well
    2. pay for traffic - i.e. adwords
