    I have personally considered using facebook advertise to help grow my fan base and drive traffic to my website. I haven't actually dont it yet but from what I'm reading it seems the price is feasible for my budget. I was under the impression that it would cost into the thousands but that seems to not be the case.

    You could advertise your Facebook page on your website which may attract more people to your Facebook fan page. You need to offer a little something to the people. For example "If you join my Facebook fan page you will receive the latest updates about the content from our website." Another way is when you make a fan page you run the fan page off of your actual Facebook page. So you can send out a invite to all of your friends from your Facebook to join your fan page. You send it out to 1000 friends you are bound to get at least 200 or 300 likes.
