How to get more fans on my FB?

I have a website and I built a fan page on facebook, now my question is how do I get more people to find and "like" my page?

 

You can do it the old-fashioned way, and wait. Or, some people buy facebook fans. You can google buying facebook fans.

 

I started looking into using facebook's advertising program... spent 20.00 made about 100 fans... or so so maybe I'll stick with that

 

Do you just want fans for the sake of having fans? What does that achieve? If you're unable to monetize the fans you're paying for then you are wasting your money.

 

There are several ways to increase your Fan Following on Facebook.. But the major thing in my opinion is that increase some niche based fans in your community that derive some qualitative traffic towards your site.. As Far as increasing fan is concerned you can send request to your friends to join your community.. another way to increase your fan following on your particular page is that you can create a new id with female user name add users blindly from this account and then suggest your friends to join this page

 

I was merely offering a promotion to get a lot of fans

 

20.00 for 100 fans is way too much o_0

 

For relevant fans you need to write good articles And then ask the regular readers to Like your page.

Agreed. Buying fans may increase your numbers, but whats the point if they don't care about your content and aren't interacting. The point of a fan page is to develop a following of fans that actually like what your doing, and the only way to do this is through relevant, well-written, fresh articles.

 

The best way is to promote giveaways and focus 80% of your efforts on image branding. If you have a budget make sure your image/headline asks a question or is very controversial. Shoemoney also ran a very informative report that concluded woman images, specifically cleavage did better than any other ad. Sex sells it seems.

 

thanks guys for all the great tips, Im looking for real fans that actually have an interest in my business and page so I think I'll stick to writing articles and paying through facebooks ad service

 

Make a material that attracts attention and creates interest to your target population. A good content is always the best key to connect with people. Have a good relationship with them. Perform a search for groups that would have your target prospects and join them. Also, create links that will direct them to your account for them to view.

 

To get more fans first you should join the related communities and then participate in them in this way you can get more fans.

Some interesting views here. Okay let me start with "whats the purpose of fans"? Well from my point of view its to connect the right people to you, your product? service you are offering? something along those lines. In result of getting the fans you would expect to add events, posts, info etc that all the fans would see and would benefit both parties right? so the big question is "why sign up Fans that will never buy, be interested or benefit either parties"?

Am I missing something here?
