    I've had awfully good luck with twitter. My "tweeple" retweet my posts and that means a different set of people show up on my blog. I don't mean that it's fabulous . . . just a decent sort of advertising

    Craigslist is another place to get the word out about your site.

    Add posts on daily basis ... and after that hire some one to do top social bookmarking for those posts.

    Believe me this is the best and cheapest way to get good traffic and improving your alexa ranking as well.
