yaa you are right some site have non folollow like facebook,twitter but this website u use on increase your website visitor means in communities site and networking u can get direct traffic

 

with dofollow forum posting and blog comment increase back link very fast another write unique quality constant and submit in article, press and news site, with increase website traffic and after time got back link.

 

google for some reason shows very few links. Using the link: command in Google is useless. A better indicator is to check in webmaster tools

 

googlw will show only quality link not all links

 

its totlly depend upon the quality content

me too i got some 700 backlinks in yahoo but only 50 in google. and thos backlinks from google are from digg which is no follow

 

Mitridissa I posted same question and it appears we have had same answer. Time to change linking strategy and look only for google relevant links.

i need to get relevant important backlinks otherwise i waste my precious time.
I will look for a do follow search engine and even search for competitors backlinks.

 

Google doesn't show or display the number of inbound links that you are getting.

 

Yeah Dude, every one knows that this sites are helpful in generation of traffic and brand building but for your kind information and getting back to discussion we had to know about back links of Google rather concentrating on traffic.

 

Even the webmaster report does not count all the links. I find that Google webmaster tend to count recent links, and drop those older links.
