Recently I added google adsense to my blog and I have quite good traffic, but still i don't see much clicks(only 27) but it has 3436 impressions. Please help me to place my ads and optimize my earnings.. here's my blog Hot Best Stuff thank you guys..
It is really a beautiful site. You may tale help from Adsense help center regarding blending ads color with your site and for the potential places for ads.
I agree with using back ground colors to blend in with the site. You don't have that bad of a CTR for just adding adsense to begin with. You are at a very good jumping off point. Go to the adsense content filter and see what your visitors are clicking on the most. Filter the ads so you are only showing the category in which people are clicking on the most. You would be surprised at what categories they would be clicking on. I have a video game website and people seem to click on ads that have nothing to do with video games. If you have not done this already, I would recommend that.
but it shows related ads most of the time... i don't think filtering will work.. anyway thanks for your feedback...
If I were you, I would use a leaderboard instead of the link units that you have on top, but that's just me. If the link units are not performing well you can try that out
why text and image ads will not work for me? just asking, cuz some people might think that those text are from my article .. just explain a bit
Use Leaderboard (728 x 90) text instead of (728x15) text ad. and use Wide Skyscraper (160x600) image or text in right sidebar for more clicks, this works trust me Move down your Facebook and google like box and move up the new ad space
get a site that doesn't suck!! pure MFA, people are smart enough not to click on those ad. Get a real site.
But i think , we should start a blog and after getting some experience , we can continue with a real site. People are smart but we should know, how to handle them, we are smarter than them... do you get it?
The easiest way to prevent smart-pricing is to remove Adsense from any of your sites that can’t produce at least a 3% CTR on ads. If you’re under 3% you’re in the danger zone and if you are getting a CTR of below 2% you have a red dot right between the eyes. Those of you that have blogs about blogging will definitely be in this category. Those of you that have sites that do well with social media may also be in this category. These sites aren’t going to be that great for Adsense and will probably hurt your entire Adsense account.
More clicks too bit dangerous to our account my friend.., i mean we must get that much of impressions, if so you are correct.
