How to get members?

    Start a new site(Write some articles) about your forum.Also you can USE this forum signature....

    i would suggest doing contest. thats what i'm going to do for mine. once i put in more content. I heard it works great for getting new members in.

    There are plenty of sites you can promote on like www.forumpromotion.net, as has been said put it in your signature and join as many forums as possible in your niche.

    The easiest/best way to get members is to offer something unique that only your site has and have it be something people actually WANT. Applies to any site, not just a forum.

    I had a website "Shawn" before I visited DP. Now I have been inspired by you. I love the way you have provided to the people. You are my ideal in this era. I mean in forum management. I also want to make a forum like you have and want to earn by google. Can you suggest me some categories?

    That in itself is going to be an issue. If YOU think that yourself, so will your users. If you have nothing unique to offer people, you are going to have a very difficult time.

    We constantly add/build new things that no one else has done. For example this was just added yesterday: http://tools.digitalpoint.com/analytics-globe.php

    You need to put yourself in the shoes of an end user and ask yourself, "Why would I want to use this site?". If you can't answer it yourself, you have more work to do.

    God has gifted you a sharp mind. Good thing it is. Well I will have to work hard more and more. I even don't know php. So face some problem in creation of anything and modifying. As you observe in this site of me. www.paksfun.com . I want to place a top banner ad. I also asked in a thread to DP members. No one could satisfy me. Can you? also plz have a look in my forum. And suggest me plz. If you don't mind sir.

    I'm not a good person to give you suggestions about what you should put on your site. Things that I want/need, I already made here, so...

    Category selection has nothing to do with it. People don't come to this site because of our categories.
