One of the top problems webmasters face is getting into the search engines quick and ranking well. The reason is that they over complicate things and thus even risked being delisted from the search engines because of these complicated, blackhat methods. The main component of good Search Engine Optimization is to gain quality backlinks. Here is a quick and easy way, which you can accomplish in one hour, to allow you to appear in Google's search engine quickly: Step One Create a blog at all these places - Blogger.com, Wordpress.com, MySpace.com, Spaces.msn.com, Tripod.com, Pages.google.com Step Two Post some useful content on all these pages, then post one link back to your site. Step Three Ping all these blogs at these places - Pingomatic.com, Pingoat.com, Pingtheempire.com. Step Four Watch your site appear in Google's rankings in as little as 24 hours! Step Five Post to your blogs once every two or three weeks to give it fresh content that the search engines will love. This system is a surefire way to get listed quickly. You are leveraging on the high Pagerank (the algorithm which Google uses to judge sites) of those blog sites and getting backlinks to your site, which are the key to getting ranked well on search engines. Each backlink acts as a sort of vote to your site. If you take a look at Blogger.com's Alexa ranking, it is one of the top-ranked sites in the world. Instead of waiting months to get listed, do it in 24 hours. © 2007 Fabian Tan
it's a good way to be listed in google index. another good way is making link exhange to be listed by google quickly
Really nice method outlined there. Im going to apply that to my new site im launching soon and will def outline the results here
My secret is.......make a post in craigslist about random stuff, insert the link, and Google will jump all over it.
I've got a better way. Get one authority link. Write quality and relevant content. Done. You'll be indexed in 24 hours. All that work for blogs you'll never maintain is STOOOOPId.
Am gonna test it and let you guys know what happened. Anyways really interesting and thanks fabian for sharing your knowledge. Rep added
You can also submit your site to google via - http://www.google.com/addurl/ - http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/siteoverview - http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ helps to Create your Google Sitemap Online - XML Sitemaps
I think that a DP sig, or a sig on any huge forum, followed by a bit of post whoring after registration, will do better for not only indexing, but traffic. While I went out and got several blogs started when I started my site, it was sig links that did the best work...and show me an instance where google is not lurking on the forums as big as the DP and I'll show you an instance of Google being down (lol) Also, one should likely follow the advice of buyallgifts as well,, as a direct submission certainly should do no harm
If you already own PR4 /5 /6 sites, place a link on a PR4+ page to your new site to get it indexes in a snap !!
Too bad it's plagiarized: http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/showthread.php?t=480953 http://ezinearticles.com/?How-To-Ge...Other-Search-Engines-In-Record-Time&id=481312 http://www.thecodingstudio.com/arti...oogle And Other Search Engines In Record Time http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=342708 http://www.afamilyplace.net/?p=3 http://www.webmaster-talk.com/the-google-forum/88282-how-get-listed-google-24-hours.html
The original poster in this thread is likely the original writer of the article. At least according to his username. So unless the member is an imposter, then the only plagiarizing is from other sites. (if that's what you meant, sorry ) Check out the members user name, then check out the copy right, then check out the names and email addresses of the sites you listed. Most seemingly belong to the OP here... Nice catch though
