Why would you wanna be listed in yahoo and why should yahoo list your blog should be the two things in your mind. No reputed directory will list something very new. You must focus on your sites content first rather than thinking about being listed in directories.

is it just me or is this forum getting more and more idiotic questions and responses every day or what?
yeah, don't waste your money on yahoo, they're just cashing in on the hype, but there's not enough for you to gain from it just order from a directory submission service, get a couple of hundred links and move on the other, more important link building tactics don't get me wrong directory submissions still work great, but it's just 1 of the many ways to get links
My advice is keep posting fresh and unique content in your blog, give blog link as signature and submit in free blog directories. Also participate in seo forums, follow these steps and you will definitely get good traffic towards your blog.
How Yahoo directory (and it is expensive) is better than other directories? Does it have good pagerank, dofollow links? Is it visited by a lot of consumers? Does anyone have this information? BTW, I submitted my site to a few dozen free directories, it's been a month but I don't see any increase in traffic, pagerank or backlinks...
