    one thing you should prefer the guideliens of dmoz, thn you need to select the right category. after selecting the right category for a right website you get listed easily within 2 months

    I did submit many years ago, nothing happened. I heard that DMOZ is very restricted, don't submit new website.

    We lost all suggestions about 4 years ago, your site may have been rejected or it could still be waitingin the suggestions pool, it can take several years fora review.

    If a site is full of unique content age does not matter (except blogs and forums).
