There are many different ways for you to get good links. One way is to add your site in your signature here on DigitalPoint. Not only will it be a backlink, but it will also serve as advertising, everytime that you make a post. You can also guest post on blogs, write articles and submit them online, do press releases, submit to directories, etc, use social bookmarking. The best links your probably going to get is from http://www.contextual-style.com, http://contextual.v7n.com well I should say them are the more reliable sources and plus they keep track of your links for you

Place your link in your forum signature if you want good links for your own website. If you are looking to link to other people's websites, simply advertise in the link exchange forum on websites such as Digital Point.

Do this. Lots of Directory Submission as much as possible (at least 3000) Exchange links with theme related sites. Participate in Forums. Add your site link as signature.

If there was an easier way, I would love to know what it is, but unfortunately the only thing I'm aware of is putting in a lot of time and effort: social networking, article submission, directories, blog commenting, and leaving a signature link anywhere possible.
what I like to do is put my LInk in my forum, it really does help. I got 4 forums in my niche that I try to post about 10 comments on each forum a day. It does drive in a traffic
