change your profile here at dp to include a link to your site in the sig.

also make sigs and post in a few other forums. I have gotten a site to a PR3 pretty fast doing that (maybe 5 weeks) and to get indexed maybe as little as 10 days.

    Hi stephen101,
I think there are many posts about your topic. You can search it again. But you can do as my way:
    - First: You need a sitemap.xml file. You can use sitemap generator tool to do it or use online sitemap generator.
    - Come to Google Webmasters Corner and do step by step as site wizard guiding.

You can add more search engine here!

    Good advice :)

The concept here is to place your link on a highly important page that will be visited by the bots regularly. An important page is one with high PR and fresh content.

signature (when you get to use it)

also the best is submitting your sites to blogs and also to public directories (PR3+)

Hmm, I'm not too sure that a PR2 link will get Google's attention that fast.

As others have said, put a link to your new page on a high PR link somewhere. For many, that highest available PR page may be the home page of a website you own. When I add a new page to my website, I always put a link to it from my home page (which has varied between PR5 and PR4). Typically, Google indexes that new page rather quickly, having discovered it from the home page link.

Link a story to digg and some other major social networking website. Index will be within 24 to 48 hours.

Get a link from a high PR site or get a link from digg, technorati or reddit.
And you will be indexed !

Forum signatures tend to be a bit overated I think, particularly by the spammer crowd but any link on a page Google visits will get you spidered. Links on popular pages will get you spidered faster.

Older links get a certain amount of extra value - if a site has linked to you for two years, and it's a half decent page, you get more benefit, so getting up some links that will be around for a long time certainly will help.

As other members have getting a link from a site with a pr of2 or more would be the best way. Google should pick up your site within 48hrs

Just gather quality back links and submit your sites to directories. Forums are also good because they are always fresh and google love that.

Why "Not PR"? In most cases, a high-PR link to your new page will get it indexed quickly. And getting it indexed is what he asked about. High-PR links do that very well.

From my experience, based on the couple of dozen sites I have put together, the more often a site/page is updated/changed then the sooner G returns.

    It's true every time.
