I've heard of yahoo listings hurting people's ranks in the past - because an editor sets your title and description. This is why I don't do it because I already rank very strongly on Yahoo. As recently as 4 months ago people were submitting their links to the yahoo directory for free via .uk. I also remember rumours at least a year ago that some of the strongest yahoo directories like .com had external noindex directives. $299/year would be a bargain for a yahoo directory link if not for the potential pitfalls. If you have a keyword - in - url type of site then I think it is worth it.
I'm going to submit my site with a credit card that expires at the end of the year. Hopefully they'll be lazy and not remove my listing after a year. I think it is worth it just to put two keywords in the anchor text.
Hi, Just submit your link in specific category which is colligated to your website. Its must to check your link go on that particular category. If you didn’t get submit on that category continue submit on that directory. And keep on eye shot in yahoo directory whether your site is submitted.
Another Question : If you submit your site and is not listed in yahoo directory When can you Resubmit it again. I refer to time limit between two submissions
