Thanks for the answer. I provide this service so I will begin doing it more for my sites

 

My site is about promotional products, I notice that it sells better locally then online.... for me anyways, but for online income will be adsense and advertisers

 

I agree if you want immediate traffic go for adwords. But if you don't want to spend money. Get your traffic from social bookmarking site, forums related to your site to get targeted traffic, get links from visited blog or site. But remember that traffic would also depend on the content of your site. If your site has informative contents and attractive it can get more traffic.

 

high traffic, quickly! try the ppc, adwords is nice, there are also other options.

try the digg, once you manage a few of your articles on the home page, you will get lots of targeted and quick traffic.

buy links in high traffic sites and blogs, that's another option.

 

I normally go for social book marking sites for instant traffic.
you just have a try. it really works.

 

Have a patience. You will soon get traffic while your site will be in a good ranking in search engines.

 

The best traffic is the organic one, because it will almost never go away if you manage your site. Search engines, directories, link exchanges etc. This help you very much. On my site i saw the difference between being 1st on the secont page for a 3.5 million results search, and now being on the 7th place, 1st page i got at least 300-400 visitors / day more than before.

So i think the best strategy is to rank well in Google, Yahoo etc. But this takes time, so as other said, best way to get traffic over night is AdWords, banner exchange etc.

 

You need to do SEO for your site. Then you will get the targeted traffic...
