How to get image index

I am wondering if there is a way to get images in your site to be index... For example if you have a wallpaper site

 

for images.. give a proper name(keyword) to your images and always use ALT tag..

 

use ALT tag, submit to google webmaster and make sure you check on the "enhanced image search" option

 

I agree with proper alt tags and file names, as well as backlinks.

 

I have done both of them but still don't get a good result.

 

spread your images to some social websites too.. hope thats way your images will start indexing
