I think the quality of your landing page is the key factor in google's quality rating.

As I said before, create ads that get higher click rates. CTR is 65% of QS. A QS of 7 is a good start.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

Even low search volume keywords have a QS. If you're saying how to make those keywords trigger ads, there's nothing you can do: you can't force people to search on your keywords.

Are you actually trying in English or the India market? You should maybe try both regarding the keywords regarding the low search volume

    Many useful tips here.
I just want to add that non-Exact keywords are a bunch of different search terms, so you can look at the search term performance to re-structure and make your campaign "laser-focused". This includes negative keywords, which are very useful.

The wealthy affiliate program helped me to better understand Adwords. I tried it for a while but I stick to good ole SEO and Facebook. Adwords is not as effective as it use to be, at least, not for my niche.

    • use negative keywords.
    • use primary keyword of landing page in your champaign's title.
    • body of champaign should have some secondary keywords.
    • display url of champaign should have primary keyword. (e.g if primary keyword of landing page is free seo then your champaign's display url should be like this : www.abc.com/free_seo
    • use ad groups.
    • your champaign must be compatible to your landing page.

Guys, this is the best answer so far and is a good start but here is a little more if you want high quality scores and lower costs: As markgmktg said use tightly themed ad groups....I mean tight....even if it is just one keyword phrase per group, then use the keyword in the title of your ad and in the body if possible, then to get tricky, use the keyword in the destination url for the ad. BUT, here is they key to relevancy.....send them to specific landing pages. The landing page theme should be the same as the keyword in each ad group. So, basically you might need to create a bunch of landing pages, specific to your ad groups (sorry...it's a lot of work). Here is the key.....optimize the landing pages like you are doing seo for that keyword. For example, you landing page for "how to train a cat" keyword/ad group should have "how to train a cat" in the title tag, the description tag, as a header in the content with an H1 tag, and in the content with a density of 2-3% if possible. Then put an image on the landing page with the keyword in the alt tag.

To review: tight ad groups with 1-3 very, very closely related keywords, keyword in the ad title and ad body, keyword in destination url, seo optimize the landing page for that keyword.

Also, this sort of thing increases the relavancy and thus increases conversion because you are giving the visitor what they think they are going to get.....which is Google's point.

My best advice if you are going to mess with Adwords:
I actually use an adwords tool called Speed PPC but I recommend you check out whatever tools are out there right now. I bought it a year and a half ago and it makes life a lot easier.
