For a webmater, wanna be a high PRï¼I am too! For months i building links to get a hith pr, but it really hard! Is there other method to get a high pr, good conten and hight traffic do any good to the point?
You will have to get backlinks from pages that themselves have high PR. These will be high quality backlinks and they will help you to get good PR. PR depends on the quality of backlinks that your site gets.
Natural links come from having quality content that people want to link to. Building quality content should come first, and then start working on your links. After you have some original, quality content on your site, then start submitting to social bookmarking sites, using RSS feed directories, forum signature links, and interlinking between your own articles. Directories - this is something that I wanted to mention separate from the rest. Mainly because you want to only submit to quality directories. And a "quality" directory will not accept just anyone. Your site is reviewed and if it does not meet a certain standard, then its rejected. Those are the types of directories you want to submit to, not the spammy ones that accept every submission.
I agree with ~kev~, go for quality first and foremost. Then focus on boosting traffic to your quality content. When you are building backlinks, you get a portion of the PR of the page linking to you. In plain English...
Provide real value with your Site. Popularize it. PR will start to increase by itself. Don't be too hasty about measuring it - google updates it every four months or so.

The only way to get high PR is getting relevant backlinks from high PR sites. And getting lots of them. Although I'm not sure why people care about their PR and not so much about quality of traffic and converting that traffic into sales. PR is not where your main focus should be as a marketer IMO...

It's pretty easy to get backlinks from dofollow blogs. You can also post on popular dofollow forums in your niche.

Please make sure you dont spam any forum, you will get quality links from quality forums only if you dont spam and actually contribute... Go to google and search for your niche + forums and try and find the best forums... make useful threads and place your links in your signature. 3) Social Bookmarking. The best way to get high PR links... Just search the net for social sites and you will find tons of lists... Now you will want to post to all of them ... OR what I use is only wire that will reduce your work and help you automate the process... 4) EDU links. Very effective and very difficult to get, so try and get these from your friends or if you know someone in your family 5) Flickr and Youtube . Images and Videos , these can get you some serious traffic and can get you some quality backlinks... The good blogs have sig restrictions and will delete your sig or completely block you. All youtube links are no follow and so are most flickr. It has to be this way or people would just upload junk for the sake of links.

Yeah backlinks are the most importent factor for google to rank your site higher. The more releavens your backline the higher you get.. and as yooplex.com said.. you can buy backlinks if you like but they can be pricey
Yeah, i think it is better to put monery on the ad than buy links, pr is not so important than the quality traffic, which is great to convert to sales!
