Just get a whole lotta links with good anchor text. Yahoo cares a lot about internal navigation too.

 

Building back links will be very helpful...
That is actually one thing you should do first...
Then you have to do the regular updates...

I think the thing that has helped us out the most is backlinks on blogs and especially forums with a decent PR. We also just recently started to do press releases ad videos...So far, so good...
