hi, i just wanna know how can i get high page ranks in google. i know that content is the king.but still just wanna know if there are other ways to increase my page rank. can forum posting alone bring good page rank??
yes, PR is something that is basically passed onto you from other sites. thousands of backlinks to your sites with no PR (or authority) will do little for PR itself, but a few high PR links will usually put PR on your site by next update.

You need to make sure you get some good backlinks to the page , which higher page rank than yours . Also , Like you said , your content should be unique and informative.
PR does not have the same weight it use to, but it is better to have it than not. Concentrate on backlinks to get traffic and not so much on PR. There are PR 3 sites that get more traffic than PR 4 based on other SEO factors.
