    Pagerank is not the only determining factor in driving traffic to your website. You need a complete seo strategy that will encompass almost if not all aspects. You need a wide variety of high quality backlinks inorder for google to recognize that you are an authoritative figure on a certain subject.

    You can attain backlinks rather easily, by building them or paying for them to be built.

    Quality content and often updation of a website pages can increase page rank. Keep concentrate on quality content, HTML validation, URL structure etc.

    If you have a new site, I think the easiest way to get a high page rank is to get a quality link from another site with high PR. You could look for sites in your niche and ask for a link exchange, but this will be hard if you have no content or little. However, if you already have a high PR site, this would work too. It would be even better if it was in the same niche. This will drive traffic to it thus creating an opportunity for AdSense earnings.

    You could like many other members are saying, buy backlinks, but this is always a questionable practice. If you have a new site that pops up and all of a sudden has hundreds or even 50+ backlinks, Google will definitely question this. Most likely this will hurt your site more than it will help it.

    Work on building your own backlinks through forum posting or blog posting. You want to make sure that they are dofollow, but even if they are not they will bring traffic towards your site. If they are nofollow, they will just not count towards PR.

    Yeah. As everyone revealed, page rank does not play any role in adsense. you need to work on gaining traffic by providing valuable content and then analyse best position of placing your ads.

    I suggest to build do follow back links for improving website page rank because do follow back links passes little bit page rank value to linked site and that is important for improving website page rank.​
