How to get Google to Crawl my site again

I was wondering if there are any tips/tricks to get google to crawl my site again.

At the moment it has only indexed a couple of my 100 pages and I think this is having an effect on Adsense as I am getting a lot of irrelevant adverts.

    Thanks

Google Crawlers and AdsenSe Crawlers are not the same, just w8 few days and try to add more content to your pages.

If you don't have enough content, then your ads will be not relevant to your niche.

Well, google adsense ads are really not dependent on the google-search engine. Each has it's own crawler. If you have a decent number of visitors (say 1000 a day), you should be seeing more and more relevant ads quickly. If you don't have that amount of visitors yet, focus instead on building quality content and SEO.

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I read that Google Crawlers and Adsense Crawlers are different but one of the 'suggestions' I've read about problems with irrelevant Adsense Adverts is that google has not crawled your site. Maybe this information was wrong.

OK thanks for your help, I'll just wait and hope it works soon. I have added a Google Sitemap as well so maybe that will help?

It's true that irrelevant ads may have to do with the adsense-bot not having crawled your site. But since the adsense bot comes buy more often if you have frequent visitors, frequent visitors are the key here.

    Did you try section targeting?

Thanks for the tips and the info. I have already done the Section targeted to just focus the crawler the text and not the menu's etc... I guess the problem is the lack of visitors then.

I'm reading the 'English: Internet, SEO and myspace tips' from your sig Kh7. Thanks for your help everyone.

Glad that you are on the right track :)

You can try to build some links to your other pages to encourage frequent crawling.

yeah that is my main aim at the moment. The site is a niche topic so finding other sites with a high PR is proving a little tricky but I have managed to get it on a few.

The site is about Bonsai Trees, so I'm trying to get it listed on the top few sites when I do a google search for 'Bonsai'
