I have signed up for traffic boost and I have paid people to send me traffic here on DP. But I am wondering how do I get traffic from places where the people will actually want to be at my site. How do you get more traffic? And keep in mind I do not want to get black listed, And I know I need good content and easy access & SEO. But how do you guys get your websites out there to have a chance with the rest of the world?
By placing nice ads in all kinds of sites that its traffic may be interested in. It's partially how this site got to be so big, and it's how other sites got to be so big.
Yes. Next to word of mouth, it is the only real way to get good, consistent traffic, without working so hard at it. It's not seo, it's not signatures, it's not social networks.... WOW! thanks for all the info I just saved the message in a txt file. I did know about a good few that you listed but not that many. I got 3 making me decent money but I am aiming to make $50-$100 a day instead of these on and off days where I make $10-$25 a day off the 3.
purchase links on site, Not for the traffic, but for the pagerank, then as your pagerank increases you get more hits from google. Its a lot better then buying traffic ...
I meant dreads. But I can't see your site under those words. I just did Google, though. If you are getting in some traffic, then you yourself already know how little traffic and sales, if any sales at all, engines can bring in. You know the reality of it.
Im not quite sure what you mean, I bought SpeedImg.com For $200 and it has made me $49.31 in adsense in 18 days. So I think I am doing Ok. And I have a higher Alexa rank than most image hosts.
Never buy traffic from anybody; those are fake traffic. You gotta work hard to get real traffic as you are trying now. make a list of marketing efforts you gonna make and work on schedule. Some techniques for marketing and traffic: - SEO. Do onpage and off page SEO for your site - Post comments on blogs - Classified ads - forum posts with your site link on the signature. - Write articles and post them on article directories - Make a blog and post useful things on topics related to your site niche; make some keywords link pointing to your site ..... and the list goes on
I have been using opt-in newsletters and sending emails to people. I always get traffic from those emails. The newsletter among other things asks to send the mail to a friend so you get referral traffic too.
By advertising and spending some good money on ads, ppc ,etc, but you should have a plan and not just throw your money away.
For me, Search Engine traffic is the best targeted traffic... so, the secret is how many quality articles you write. The more quality articles you write, the more traffic you'll get from the search engines.(You've to follow some seo tips like submitting a sitemap to google,etc to make your web pages index faster and better).
One more question kill 2 birds with one thread. Does anyone else have on and off days with adsense or does it stay steady. Because I got $25 on friday and $18 on saturday then on sunday I only got $11 and today a weak ass $0.38... Does it ever stay steady so you can estimate what you will be making?
