The two keys on getting good rank in google is seo and quality backlinks.

 

first step do submit to site directory,
second step boost your site using article writing containing hihgly targeted keyword,
third step start to exchange link with a good PR site.

I think getting an alexa rank and a google rank is damn good.

For an alexa rank it is too easy just download the alexa toolbar on your mozilla browser and then change your homepage to the site whose rank you want to increase this really works

I hav 2lac and 4lac ranked sites.The rank might not be too good but they are good.The site with 2lac alexa rank is completely useless and still a good rank.

And for finding a good keyword go on my signature link and then the topic will open and click DEMO.
