I'm currently checking the ticket sites, and only a few sections are available. Is this because there already sold out to season ticket holders, or that tickets aren't officially on sale yet. Besides this, how do you get decent seats at affordable prices? Go Bears, \/ E /\/ E
I'm guessing your talking American football, but these things tend to be fairly common in any sports. First thing to note is unless they are an offical ticket seller they will charge a premium normally a very high one important events such as the English FA Cup final games upto 10 times the face value of the ticket are not unusual. Your right in most cases season ticket holders will fill up most of the ground, however in the UK there are quite a few seat swap websites, often endorsed by the club so if a season ticket holder cant go to a game, it allows them to sell it at around face value. Club fan forums are another place to pick up tickets, exepct some price premium but often "real fans" will sell tickets at face value + costs. Phone the team itself, sometimes they have spare tickets, a business party that cant make it, some other returns etc. Sometimes it can be a real pain, but once you know where to look its not as difficult as you think finding tickets. Thanks Jenni, yes i think I will wait for the official tickets to be avaialbe, and try to find some season tickets on ebay or craigslist. Steal tickets, That's an ideal. Maybe you could just hookup a tv to your trunk and watch the game outside the stadium. And Then just look out for the scalpers!!. Wowzers. Oh yeah, to the person with the baseball hookup, hook it up!
