Dan you seem like a cool guy and I think you have a different way of going about SEO than most on here. Although maybe what you're doing is more time consuming, it's a lot more effective in the long run because of the links you get. Do you think you can share some tips on how you get sites to post the articles you write for them ? Also, how do you go about finding these sites ? Lately I have been googling: "submit article" nichekeyword Any advice ?
Just find the sites that are related to the ones you're trying to optimize and send them a polite email. If you need to grease a few palms, comment on their blogs and become a good member of their community. That's pretty much all there is to it.
Hello, For link building SEO services are the most efficacious tools out there. There are some of them like : *web 2 services. *Press release submissions. *Manual social bookmarking. *Article writing + submissions. *Blog comments. *Deep Link Submissions. *Manual Directory Submissions. and many more... These services will help in developing juicy back links for your site which will improve its ranking in search engines. They are very efficacious in promoting a site and there by giving it a boost. As a result of which page rank improvises and hence number of visitors also increases. Hope this helps you. regards Sripat
Dan, I am interested to read those links to link-building articles. If you can't post them here, I'd be happy to read them through a PM. Thank you in advance.
Articles are my money making link strategy for sure. It takes about 30 minutes for me to write a 500 word article, and not only does Google love eZine Articles, the articles really generate traffic. So maybe you invest 3-4 hours a day, writing 6-8 articles. That gives you 6-8 high quality links per day, plus the real highly targeted traffic that they will bring you.
Dan I agree finding sites that are tailored to your business and submitting articles for posting is a great way to market your business. I am putting a list together of sites that allow content submissions. Anyone who knows of such sites please respond to this thread and I will compile and share them. Submit free SEO articles www.webseoagent.com , it’s a great way to showcase your knowledge and drive traffic to your site.
I'll say the most reliable way is to post really helpful posts on forums and you'll get backlinks. However, there are many tricky ways, but might not be reliable ways,.
thanks for the list.. this will need some more time... i have been focusing more on blogs commenting... and forum signature for anchor text.. are they useless?
you can submit your article or link on 123-marketing.com, its part of the launch press release network. For a small fee you can submit to the 2700 sites on the network. This is mostly good for raising your pr. If the site is at a 0 you will go to a 2-3 in about a month and a half. The "Long Term Link Building" option is the simplest way to do this. I think its pretty good, if anyone disagrees let me know. But using what they call the "long term link building" option you get to add your site to all 2700 sites on the network for $59, the links are there for life and you PR will go up in one "google dance" usually about 45days.
you can find related sites on google and send them mail for link exchange but only with good sites not with pron sites or adult sites and you will get pr in google slowly.
As more as you do link building your page rank will be increased for this purpose you may hired any company or person who do work only for your web site
Everything they said is true, and I guess to sum it all up, in order to get a high PR for your site, you just try to get quality links from related or closely related sites as much as possible. But then again, you also need to understand that PR isn't everything.
I don't think submitting to directories work any more, unless they are the DMOZ or Yahoo Directories.
Just submitted an article to EzineArticles. Have just switched my blogspot.com to a .com, and as a result, lost all my backlinks. Argh. Got to start all over again. Oh well.
For backlinks? No... Read the list in Dan's sig. This thread is really old. Forums are not the way to go. Nigel
I've heard that if I have some links coming from an Article Directory e.g. Ezine, Google gives value to a just a certain number of links and then after that if one keeps on getting links from the same domain, Google would not give it any value. Do you agree? How many links do you try to get from one article directory?
Great question, I will take it one further.. I understand you should links from as many sites as possible, but what about 200 links from 15 sites.. At what point do you move on to other sites, relative to articles, forums and blogs
