But yeah this is fake stuff and just for show for webmasters with bucks to waste. I'd just suggest use Doshys tips to the maximum. To get into the top 1,000 alexa you need to be getting over 1billion uniques a day, just imagine... 1billion uniques but none of the users use the alexa toolbar.. Damn that would be harsh.
DoshDosh is really good. I have also seen few more techniques like Page Enhancer or setting a low page refresh value within the HTML. I am not sure how effectively do these work and I don't think you will get too far by cheating the system this way.
What you want to do is try get links/banners from sites with good alexa rankings. 1billion uniques a day gets you in the top 1,000 alexa
The best way is to have good content and just increase your traffic incrementally i think my old hosting site was 6000 on the rankings.
I installed the plugin for firefox .... it make the browser lot slow ... Most of all does it contain any adware or spyware
1. A new blogger should always get his site on alexa first and the rest of the major search engine that can be submitted for free. 2. search google by, "improve alexa rank" or "manipulate alexa rank" also try, "alexa auto surf" and follow those sites that comes on top of the results! your alexa rank will sure improve! cheers
