Try to find a forum that aren't indexed in google, then look for quality threads and copy&paste them into your site :)

Can't really say its unique if you scrape the content from a website. An easy way to find ideas is to look over the article sites. When you find a topic that is interesting, do a little research and write the content yourself. Will take you 15 minutes to get maybe 500 words done. Good luck.

Contract to have articles written. Arrange to have them delivered in person.

Then, shiv the author in the spleen and leave him for dead in the hold of a freighter bound for Surabaya.

There are three possible outcomes: 1. You prevail. 2. You seem to prevail, but thirty years later his only son tracks you down (Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father...) 3. You seem to prevail, but the author miraculously survives and spends the next ten years in a Shaolin monastery. After completing his training, he returns seeking vengeance.

If you really want the content to be unique you must write it yourself. No way around that.

Ok guys! I'm a writer and I can tell you that there are plenty of writers just starting out that are willing to write for exposure and all that means is that they want their name viewable as the author.

Believe it or not, it's true.

I've had several that wanted to work with me for free. You just have to know where to look, writer sites are full of people looking to gain experience.

    Hope that helps!

Well, Ladyjade, if you get another one who comes to you willing to work on those terms, have 'em PM me! I'm always willing to run credited, unique content on my PR5 site:)

I moonlight as a professional musician, so I'm very familiar with the concept of "playing for exposure"!

Write the content yourself. Most of the writers on those sites where you can buy articles are terrible.

Ace that's not always true! (Notice I did say 'always') I'll agree that a lot of the writers may not be up to par but there are a few that are.

If you want to see about getting some free content just place an ad over at freelancewriting.com, say that you're looking for newbie writers that want to get their feet wet and that you're willing to give authors full credit for their work.

It's better than getting articles from free reprint houses where the content has been used by 500 sites by the time you see it or depending on RSS feeds.

    :) Lisa

Kevin gets the concept! I've 'played' for exposure before too and I felt like a typist ho, I'm glad those days are over :)
