Hey. I'm new to the blogging business. I'm now trying to figure out how to get free backlink from other blogs in order to promote my site. I've seen some news briefing about some companies succeeding to get hundreds of thousand backlink from PR 3+ websites in short period. But I've got no clue how they succeed that... Are there any suggestions?

There are tons of high traffic sites like this where you can submit your website and get tons of traffic and some good backlinks. Blog Commenting - Go find blogs related to your website and write comments. Don’t just go and spam your links everywhere. If you actualy read the post and write a usefull comment, there will be a better chance that someone will actualy follow your link. Be sure to look for dofollow blogs to make sure your backlink will count. Forum commenting - This is basicly the same as blog commenting. Find relevent forums, get involved in discussions and make helpfull post. After a while add your link to your signiture to get backlinks. Contact webmaster - Find websites or blogs related to your website. Usualy avery website has a contact us page, send them an email an nicely let them know what your site offers and how they would both benefit by exchanging backlinks. Most of the time, if you have a quality website, they will say yes.
