How to Get Forum site going?

    What's the best way to advertise a forum? How do you get people to register? I think my site looks clean and organized enough. Already submitted site to google, yahoo, msn. What's next without using adwords?

    Another thing you can do is hire someone to create memberships and "fake" conversations with each other. People are always more likely to join if they have something to say.
